1.   What is the difference between the various self-modifying code?
No_Check             doing nothing, faster

Check Block & DMA    Slowest, safest
2.   Which has higher or lower protection / strength comparatively?
"No Check" has the lowest protection while "Check Block & DMA" has the highest
3.   Why doesn’t a playable rom starts when it starts before?
Restart the emulator to clear whatever bad status it remembers
4.   Why can’t I stop and/or close a looping or hang game?
Click on “CPU” --> “Kill CPU Thread” --> “Stop” --> “File” --> “Close Rom” in the GUI
5.   Why did the emulator crash when it is started up?
Try deleting the 1964 click here
Try deleting related plugins registry setting
Reinstall 1964 again click here
6.   Why did emulator crash JABO_DIRECT3D.DLL and 1964 when starting a game?
Restart the emulator to clear previous bad status and/or
The TLB setting could be wrong and/or
The FPU Hack setting could be wrong
7.   Why is there a “dummy.txt” file unzipped into the save and plugin subdirectory?
This is to ensure the required default subdirectory is created
8.   How to speed up my game V/I?
Try CF2 or CF4 but it may cause certain games to hang or missing menu or timing issue if it is not stated in the 1964.ini
Try Azimer v0.13b AudioHLE plugin instead of Azimer v0.20b/c
Restart your emulator and/or pc to free memory & other resources
Upgrade your video card (recommend GeForce card), system ram (recommend 128Mb), CPU
